How our pricing desk evaluates and returns commercial proposals.
What information should I include in a quote request?
Provide pickup and delivery locations, cargo weight and dimensions, pallet count, vehicle requirements (e.g. tail-lift), frequency, and any special handling notes. The more detail provided, the more accurate the proposal.
How are transport rates calculated?
Carriage pricing considers lane distance, total weight, equipment type, loading/unloading time, and fuel surcharge indices. FCL dedicated loads and LCL consolidated runs are priced differently.
How are warehousing rates structured?
Storage is billed on weekly pallet positions or dedicated square metres, plus optional handling fees for intake, dispatch, and value-added services such as rework or returns processing.
Is there a fee for quote preparation?
Standard commercial quotes are prepared at no charge. Complex network design or multi-site modelling for enterprise RFPs may be scoped under a formal engagement letter.
Can I negotiate volume discounts?
Yes. Clients with predictable weekly volumes across transport and/or storage receive tiered rate cards reviewed quarterly.
