1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging AS LOGISTICS PTY LTD (referred to as "AS Logistics") for road transport, warehousing, storage, or EDI tracking dispatches, the customer agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Carriage and Service Terms. These rules apply to all quotes, booking confirmations, and agreements.
2. Carrier Status and Services
AS Logistics is not a common carrier and reserves the right to refuse carriage or warehousing of any goods at our discretion. Services include road transport, storage layout structures, cross-docking, and returns management.
3. Customer Warranties
The customer warrants that:
- All goods provided for freight or storage are securely packed and labelled correctly for transport.
- Descriptions of goods (dimensions, weights, and categories) submitted via our booking portal or EDI systems are accurate.
- No dangerous goods will be submitted without written agreement and clearance.
4. Liability Caps
All transport and storage are performed at the customer's risk. AS Logistics is not liable for cargo damage, inventory losses, or delivery delays, except where explicitly governed by consumer protection laws. Customers are advised to arrange transit and storage insurance.
5. Payments and Fees
Invoices are payable within net terms specified on dispatch declarations. Unpaid invoices could delay inventory release and trigger lien actions on stored goods.
